- Microsoft to Unveil Office for iPad and New Enterprise Mobility Suite Today?

Microsoft will reportedly take the wraps off Office for iPad today at an event in San Francisco, according to Mary Jo Foley for ZDNet. In addition, the company is also predicted to debut a new Enterprise Mobility Suite for large enterprise customers.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is expected to unveil the long-rumored Microsoft Office for iPad suite on March 27. But there’s another Microsoft “suite” that I’m hearing will debut on March 27, too. That suite, a licensing bundle known as the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS), is for large enterprise customers who need to manage centrally iPads, iPhones, Android devices, Windows devices and more, according to sources of mine who’ve requested anonymity.
The suite of apps is rumored to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. A Microsoft Office 365 subscription will most likely be required. Just 10 days ago, Microsoft released OneNote for Mac for the first time.

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTube - Twitter App Update Brings Photo Tagging, Ability to Share 4 Photos in a Tweet

Twitter has revealed the new features added to its iOS app today. One is photo tagging, which lets you tag the people in your photo; the other is the ability to include up to four photos in a Tweet.
Tag up to 10 people in a photo
Tagging people in a picture makes conversations around photos fun and easy. And tagging doesn’t affect character count in the Tweet — you can tag up to 10 people in a photo and still have all 140 characters at your disposal, making it easier to connect with your friends. If you’re the one being tagged, you’ll get a notification. You can adjust notifications, as well as who can tag you, in your Settings.

DigiTimes is the latest source to report that Apple will be launching a new Retina Display MacBook Air.
The site notes that current MacBook shipments are likely to drop 15% from 12 million units in 2013 to 9.9-10 million units in 2014. However, suppliers believe that those estimates may not be accurate due to the launch of new MacBook models.
Taiwan-based supply chain makers hold the opinion that 2014 MacBook shipments estimates may not be accurate because Apple will launch new models in the second half of 2014. Apple will reportedly launch a MacBook Air with Retina display, the makers said.

The WSJ has posted a photo of the secret room at Apple where the original iPhone’s software was born.
The secret meeting room where most of the design decisions for the original iPhone’s software were made is “hallowed ground” to Greg Christie, who designs the software interface for Apple products and one of the first members recruited to work on the device in 2004.
The windowless room was lit by fluorescent lights hanging from the ceiling. The walls had signs of water damage from a flood in an adjacent bathroom and there were a few images put up including one of Apple’s “Think Different” posters of famous graphic designer Paul Rand and another of a large chicken running around without its head.
