A Force Touch on the Apple Watch Display Lets You Change Emoji Color

In her blog on training for a marathon with the Apple Watch, Christy Turlington Burns reveals that a Force Touch of the display changes emoji color. Presumably this would make it easy to select skin color. While we were apart, my daughter and I were sending animated emoji to the boys. The faces are the best because they’re so expressive. If you press the screen, you can change the color.Turlington Burns also touts the Apple Watch as a source of motivation.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

The HTC One M9 bent at 120 lbs but that is also when it broke because the power button was located at the center of the device. When the device bent the power button stopped working. The new Galaxy S6 Edge bent at 110 lbs of pressure but unlike the iPhone 6 Plus, its display cracked at this point. The display was still working so SquareTrade kept bending and found that it broke apart entirely at 149 lbs.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Samsung Wins Order to Produce A9 Chips for the Next iPhone?

Samsung has been selected as the producer of the A9 chip that Apple will use in its next generation iPhone, reports Bloomberg.Samsung Electronics Co. will manufacture the main chip in Apple Inc.’s next iPhone model, regaining a customer previously lost to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., people with direct knowledge of the matter said. Samsung will start making Apple A9 processor chips at its Giheung plant in South Korea, the people said, asking not to be identified because the contract hasn’t been discussed publicly. Additional orders will go to Samsung’s partner Globalfoundries Inc., according to another person familiar with the arrangement.Apple chose TSMC as the producer of its A8 processor for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The missed business contributed to Samsung semiconductor posting a 1 trillion ($914 million) loss last year. However, if Samsung does end up producing the A9 chip it could realize a 1 trillion won gain this year, says Song Myung Sup, a Seoul-based analyst at HI Investment & Securities Co.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Is your Apple Magic Mouse loosing connection?

Having issues losing connection with your Apple Magic Mouse? Well I was having that very same issue then started searching for possible solutions. My Magic Mouse was not staying connect to both my MacBook Pro & my wife’s MacBook Air.  My Apple Wireless Keyboard was working just fine so this led me to believe that there was an issue with the mouse hardware.  I searched on the web to find a few articles on the Apple discussion board about the batteries not always fitting correctly. Well with spring loaded connections I found that hard to believe. I did take out the batteries to play around with them.  But the  LED was always blinking showing that it found not find a connection.  Or it would connect, then disconnect 1-5 sec later. The computer had enough time to register that the batteries were at 100% power.

Then I found one other blog about bluetooth interference from other devices.  My iPhone 4s & my wife’s iPhone 5 were in the other room. I did not think there was a chance this this was the cause. But for the process on illumination I turned off the bluetooth from both phones, and ding.  The Apple Wireless Mouse works perfect again.  Thinking back I only turned on the bluetooth because of our new cars having bluetooth. I’ll have to keep turing it off when I want to use my wireless mouse (I’m not using a different mouse).

In conclusion if you have bluetooth enables on your phone it may interfere with your Magic Mouse.  Your Apple Wireless Keyboard & Apple Wireless Toutchpad will not be affected. The devise are running of a similar frequency causing interference.  Apple? Why didn’t you think of this? I guess my mouse is not as magical as I had hoped. But I still love it.
