Apple Music Concept Features Streamlined Interface, Notifications, Linked Accounts [Video]

Check out this Apple Music concept by Jupiter Winters, a User Behaviour & Experience Designer from Toronto. The concept reimagines the Apple Music app with a streamlined interface, notifications, and linked accounts.”I focused on three main things”, says Jupiter. “First a streamlined and intuitive interface so users can navigate through the app with ease. The second is notifications so you will never miss a new song, album, music video or other fun stuff from your favorite artists. The last thing I created was linked accounts so that users could add songs to their music libraries directly from Facebook, Youtube and Twitter.”There have been a lot of complaints surrounding the design of Apple Music. After its initial trial period ended, American music industry analyst and critic Bob Lefsetz wrote, “Apple Music does the one key thing lousily too… And that’s play music. All the curation, all the b.s… Just let me play my tunes. And give me comprehensible playlists. Even better, give me a comprehensible interface.”Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Dropbox’s ‘Project Infinite’ Lets You Access Files in the Cloud Without Having Them Stored Locally

Dropbox has announced ‘Project Infinite’ a new feature that lets users store files in the cloud without needing to have them on their local disk. With Project Infinite, we’re addressing a major issue our users have asked us to solve. The amount of information being created and shared has exploded, but most people still work on devices with limited storage capacity. While teams can store terabyte upon terabyte in the cloud, most individuals’ laptops can only store a small fraction of that. Getting secure access to all the team’s data usually means jumping over to a web browser, a clunky user experience at best.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here
