Whitney Wolfe, a former Tinder employee who sued the company for sexual harassment, has launched a new competitor called Bumble. Wolfe is also working with two other early Tinder employees, Chris Gulczynski and his partner Sarah Mick (cofounders of YayNext).
Bumble shows you people nearby that you want to connect with. After two people mutually opt in by swiping right, they’re added to each other’s ‘hive’ of connections. The girl has to make the first move, always. She has 24 hours to say something before the match disappears forever. We’re changing the rules of the game. Bee social, bee kind, bee polite.

Starting today, Twitter users on iOS and Android will be alerted to a change in the data the company is collecting on them. Essentially, Twitter is going to collect the list of applications you have installed on your mobile device.
To help build a more personal Twitter experience for you, we are collecting and occasionally updating the list of apps installed on your mobile device so we can deliver tailored content that you might be interested in. If you’re not interested in a tailored experience you can adjust your preferences at any time (read below). Additionally, if you have previously opted out of interest-based ads by turning on “Limit Ad Tracking” on your iOS device or by adjusting your Android device settings to “Opt out of interest-based ads,” we will not collect your apps unless you adjust your device settings.
Here’s how the company plans to use this data:
? Improved “who to follow” suggestions that share similar interests.
? Adding Tweets, accounts, or other content to your timeline that we think you’ll find especially interesting.

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTube - Apple to Rely More Heavily on Samsung for iPhone 6 and Apple Watch Components?

Samsung is reportedly set to supply an increasing number of components for the iPhone 6, a change in Apple recent moves to distance itself from the company, says BusinessKorea.
According to industry sources on Nov. 25, the iPhone 6 will feature batteries manufactured by Samsung SDI. Some raise the possibility that Samsung’s TLC NAND flash will also be used in the iPhone 6.
Notably, Apple went with Toshiba’s TLC NAND flash for the 128GB models of the iPhone 6 and memory from SK Hynix, Toshiba, and SanDisk in the 64GB models. However, there have been user reports of unexpected crashes and devices that are stuck in a boot loop which are being blamed on the TLC NAND flash in higher capacity devices.
