- Beats Music Becomes Apple's First App For Android and Windows Phone

Apple has confirmed that they will keep the Beats Music App alive on both Android and Windows Phone devices. After announce its plans to acquire Beats for $3 Billion, the company confirmed the news in an interview with Recode.
“It’s on Android now, and we want to keep it that way,” Apple SVP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue said at the inaugural Code Conference on Wednesday.
Apple is now able to sell music on other platforms, without using directly Apple’s name. In addition, if Apple were to pull these apps from the respective stores, it would most likely be met with regulatory issues from the Federal Trade Commision.

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTube - Future Apple EarBuds Could Use Sensors to Detect Users' Ear, Controlling Noise Cancellation and Music Playback

Apple’s has a couple of patents (via AppleInsider) that were revealed today that could reduce the power consumption of noise cancelling earbuds — which could detect a user’s ear and stop playing music automatically. Essentially, sensors in the earbuds can provide more efficient use of the power-hungry features on your iPhone or the earbuds themselves.
One patent focuses on turning the noise-cancellation feature on or off, depending if the earbuds are in your ear. It would uses capacitive touch sensors, accelerometers, force sensor, and more. The other patent uses the same sensors, but this time will play/pause the music depending on if they’re in your ear or not.
An electronic device may be coupled to an accessory such as a pair of earphones. The earphones may have noise cancellation features that may be implemented using noise cancellation circuitry in the earphones or in the electronic device. The earphones may have ear presence sensor structures that determine whether speakers in the earphones are present at the ears of a user. In one suitable embodiment, control circuitry in the earphones may be used to adjust noise cancellation circuitry in the earphones based on information from the ear presence sensor structures. For example, the control circuitry may deactivate noise cancellation circuitry in response to receiving information from the ear presence sensor structures indicating that the earphones have been removed from a user’s ears. In another suitable embodiment, control circuitry in the electronic device may adjust noise cancellation circuitry in the electronic device based on information from the ear presence sensor structures.

Luxshare wouldn’t comment on the partnership because “the product [iWatch] is not yet available”.

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTube - Apple to Release 8GB iPhone 5s, Cheaper iMacs at WWDC?

KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will release an 8GB iPhone 5s for emerging markets and a rumored cheaper iMac at next week’s WWDC.
As iPhone 5S is a highly popular model, we predict Apple may launch an 8GB version to boost market share in emerging markets.
Kuo notes that Apple probably will not spend time announcing the 8GB iPhone 5s on stage, but will probably debut the device sometime around then. Currently, a cheaper 8GB iPhone 5c is offered in emerging markets, however the timing of an 8GB iPhone 5s seems unusual.

Nisarg Swaminarayan, 29, was eating dinner near his home in New Jersey when Dropcam’s app notified him that the sliding door at his home had been opened. Swaminarayan checked his Dropcam security system cameras via an iPhone and watched as a burglar broke into his home and stole his camera equipment.
Although the room was pitch-black, Dropcam cameras have night-vision which allowed Swaminarayan to see the burglar’s every move.
Swaminarayan said he watched as the invader grabbed his electronic equipment, so he tapped into one of the camera’s loudspeakers and screamed. “I simply told him, ‘I can see you, please, leave my home,’” he recalled.
