Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTube - First Generation Apple TV Owners Report Difficulties Connecting to iTunes

First generation Apple TV owners are reporting difficulties connecting to iTunes on their device. A growing thread on Apple Support Communities details the problem.
Here’s a sample complaint from georgevargas:
Accessing the Internet works. The Trailers option flickers off when selected but if I am quick enough I can access it. The trailers will stutter, pause and lag. No access to the iTunes Store at all for movies, tv shows, or podcast. Youtube works without a problem. I unpluged the AppleTv twice, and restared it with the remote once. All is not well.

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTube - Analysts Estimate Apple Sold 4 Million Macs Last Quarter [Chart]

Fortune has compiled an average estimate for the number of Macs sold last quarter from professional and amateur analysts. At 12% the Mac is now Apple’s third biggest money maker, after the iPhone at 52% and iPad at 20%.
Estimates indicate that after four quarters with year-over-year declines the Mac may have finally see some year-over-year growth.
Although a third of the 33 analysts we’ve heard from so far — 13 amateurs and 20 Wall Street professionals — think Apple will report another decline in unit sales next week, two thirds believe sales actually rose year over year. The average analyst’s estimate is just over 4 million Macs, a 2.8% increase over the same quarter last year. The pros (at 4.1 million) are slightly — but only slightly — more bullish than the amateurs (4 million) this time around.

Newly discovered malware dubbed ‘Unflod Baby Panda’ infects jailbroken iDevices in an attempt to steal your Apple ID and password.
Stefan Esser, a hacker known as i0n1c, details the malware that was discovered by reddit users.
On 17th April 2014 a malware campaign targetting users of jailbroken iPhones has been discovered and discussed by reddit users. This malware appears to have Chinese origin and comes as a library called Unflod.dylib that hooks into all running processes of jailbroken iDevices and listens to outgoing SSL connections. From these connections it tries to steal the device’s Apple-ID and corresponding password and sends them in plaintext to servers with IP addresses in control of US hosting companies for apparently Chinese customers.

Newly leaked photos, allegedly of the next generation iPad Air front panel, have surfaced on One More Thing.
The photos reveal an iPad front panel with an integrated display. It’s possible that rather than using a separate display panel and front panel, Apple could be looking to save previous space by integrating the two. The saved space could be used to make the iPad thinner or perhaps increase the size of the battery.
The site also notes that the connectors for the display are different than the current generation iPad Air.
