Apple Removes April 24th Launch Date From Apple Watch Site [Images]

Apple has quietly updated its Apple Watch to remove the April 24th launch date. The site now reads ‘The Watch is coming.’ in place of ‘Available 4.24.15’.The change follows the announcement that the Apple Watch will not be available to purchase in retail stores on April 24th. Customers have expressed concern to Apple that the launch date is misleading and more of a delivery date than a launch date if the device is not available to purchase in stores. Apple’s executive team is reportedly taking those complaints very seriously and this may be a step to help prevent any customer confusion. If you haven’t ordered one already you could be waiting into July depending on model you want.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Apple Gives Designer Karl Lagerfeld an Apple Watch With a Gold Link Bracelet [Photo]

Apple has given an Apple Watch with a special unannounced gold Link Bracelet to Karl Lagerfeld, a German fashion designer, artist, and photographer based in Paris. Lagerfeld, is the head designer and creative director of the fashion house Chanel as well as the Italian house Fendi and his own label fashion house.Apple offers the Link Bracelet in Stainless Steel and Space Black; however, it does not currently offer a version of the bracelet in gold. Notably, Daring Fireball’s John Gruber predicted we would see a gold Link Bracelet back in February.Glaringly omitted is a gold Link Bracelet. I’d place a side bet Apple withheld it in September, and will unveil it as a surprise option at the event they’ll hold before releasing the watches. If you’re going to go gold, go gold. Some people buy a gold watch simply because they like it. Others buy a gold watch because they want everyone to know they wear a gold watch. The latter group will gladly pay $20,000 for a watch with gold band.
