Check Out Apple’s ‘Clever’ Design for the U.K. Apple Watch Charger [Photo]

Apple appears to have given cyclist and former professional rugby player Will Carling an Apple Watch and a ‘clever’ folding charger.Carling tweeted a photo of the charger saying, “Now that is cool ……. Never thought I would be impressed by my new plug!!! #apple #clever”. He was given the charger by Jonathan Ive. No word on whether it will come with the retail Apple Watch.In addition to the charger, Carling also posted an image of what appears to the Apple Watch Sport with a pink band, despite his reference to it as a red band. “Think I prefer the red strap!! #rubitin”, he tweeted. Apple Plans to Launch Apple Pay in Canada This November

Apple is planning to launch Apple Pay in Canada this November, reports the WSJ. This would be the first time that the mobile payments service becomes available outside the United States.The company is in negotiations with Canada’s six biggest banks about a potential November launch of the service which would enable mobile payments for both credit and debit cards using iPhones and the forthcoming Apple Watch, those people said. The banks are open to an agreement, but they aren’t happy with Apple’s fee proposals and are concerned about security vulnerabilities like the ones that U.S. banks experienced as they rolled out the service, the people said.The banks who are said to be in discussions with Apple include: Royal Bank of Canada, Toronto-Dominion Bank, Bank of Nova Scotia, Bank of Montreal, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and National Bank of Canada. Roommates Stab Each Other During Fierce iPhone vs. Android Debate

Two men have been hospitalized after stabbing each other during a fierce debate over which phone is better, iPhone or Android, reports KTUL. Alcohol is said to have played a role in the altercation.Tulsa police say a woman found a man covered in blood, stumbling around the parking lot of the Evergreen Apartments around 1 a.m. When police arrived at the apartment complex, they learned that the roommates had been drinking and arguing over their mobile phones. Police say the two men broke beer bottles and stabbed each other with them. One of the men smashed a bottle over the back of the other man’s head.Both men are being treated for their injuries at a local hospital.
