Google Temporarily Shuts Down Map Editing Tool After Android Bot Urinating Incident

Weeks ago, an image of an Android bot urinating on an Apple logo was spotted in Google Maps. At the time, some speculated it was a third party playing a prank through Google Maps’ editor, and it seems that may be the case.Today, Google announced that its map making editing tool would temporarily be unavailable. The map maker team also posted a message explaining the temporary shut down. The team switched from automated approval system to a manual case-by-case method; however, the backlog of edits continued to grow and eventually become unmanageable. —Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

New Apple Campus 2 Aerial Shots Show Restaurant, Amphitheatre, More [Photos]

KCBS news and traffic reporter Ron Cervi has been busy today sharing some aerial shots of Apple Campus 2. Today’s shots show an overall picture of the entire spaceship campus, the four-story restaurant, and the campus amphitheater. Apple’s next headquarters will be located in Cupertino, covering 176 acres and reaching over 2.8-million square feet. The company plans to accommodate over 12,000 staff members at the new Campus that will feature a massive fitness center, restaurant, amphitheater and more. Like its data center, Apple will be using 100% renewable energy to power Campus 2 — which could be named after Steve Jobs.Just recently, speculation about delays with construction arose after Apple hired a new contractor; however, the company has not made mention of any problems, and it’s expected that the campus will be ready by Q4 2016.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Check out these new videos of the Apple Watch being tested in a waterproof test chamber to 40m / 140ft, during a 1000m lap pool swim, and off a 10m dive board. The videos posted by DC Rainmaker indicate that the despite Apple not touting the Apple Watch as waterproof. It appears quite safe to use while performing most water related activities.I’m impressed, it’s still chugging along after that – with not a single sign of any issues at all. Clearly this is all more than adequate for any sort of casual sweat or showering. Though I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out over the next few weeks just in case.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here
