Rdio is planning to launch a cheaper $3.99/month streaming music tier that will let you listen to songs ad free but will limit the number of tracks you can directly access per day, reports BuzzFeed.The San Francisco-based music service, which is scrambling to compete with the likes of Spotify and a forthcoming service being developed by Apple, told BuzzFeed News that it will offer a significantly limited subscription plan for $3.99 a month. Apple has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by A123 Systems accusing the company of poaching its employees to build a ‘large-scale battery division’, reports BBC.The agreement in principle was disclosed in the papers filed by the battery-maker, which is based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
