Apple Music Will Allow Offline Playback of Songs and Videos

Apple’s upcoming ‘Apple Music’ streaming service will allow offline playback of songs and videos. The company confirmed the feature to Re/code in a statement.“As an Apple Music member you can add anything from the Apple Music library — a song, an album or a video — to your collection,” Apple said in a statement to Re/code. “And that’s just the warm-up act. From there you can create the perfect playlist from anything you’ve added. You Can Update to iOS 9 Without a Developer Registered iPhone UDID

iClarified has discovered that it is currently possible update to iOS 9 without having your iPhone’s UDID registered in the Apple Developer Center.To begin, you’ll need to get your hands a valid iOS 9 firmware (IPSW) file. This can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center if you’re a registered developer.To upgrade to iOS 9 without a UDID registered in the Apple Developer Center, press and hold the Option key (Shift for Windows) and click ‘Update’ or ‘Check For Update’ in iTunes. Select the iOS 9 IPSW file you downloaded earlier from the popup window to install iOS 9. iOS 9 Defaults to Using a 6-Digit Passcode PIN

Apple has updated iOS to use a six digit numeric passcode PIN by default. Previous versions of the operating system would prompt users to setup a four digit passcode.While a six digit passcode is more secure, you may want to consider changing your code to an even more secure alphanumeric one. Apple Revamps Developer Program to include iOS, watchOS, and Mac OS X

Apple has unified its developer program to include a single membership for iOS, watchOS, and Mac OS X. Apple previously offered two separate developer programs — one for iOS and one for Mac — both carrying a $100 fee.Now it’s easier than ever to bring your creativity to all Apple platforms. The iOS Developer Program, Mac Developer Program, and Safari Developer Program are now the Apple Developer Program. Starting June 8, only one membership in the single Apple Developer Program is needed to build and distribute apps for iOS, OS X, and watchOS.Developers previously on iOS or Mac programs have automatically been updated to the new membership. Apple has announced a new ‘Move to iOS’ application that will launch on Android and iOS — alongside iOS 9. The app will make is very easy for Android users to switch to iPhone. Just download the Move to iOS app to wirelessly switch from your Android device to your new iOS device. It securely transfers your contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, calendars, wallpaper, and DRM-free songs and books. And it will help you rebuild your app library, too. Any free apps you used — like Facebook and Twitter — are suggested for download from the App Store. And your paid apps are added to your iTunes Wish List. Apple says the app will let you transfer all your contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, calendars, wallpaper, and DRM-free songs and books. It will even suggest any free apps to download that were previously on your Android device. Paid apps will obviously have to be re-downloaded, but they’ll be added to your iTunes wishlist.
