Apple Testing iCloud Voicemail Service That Uses Siri to Answer Calls and Transcribe Messages

Apple is testing a new Siri based voicemail service that would replace your traditional voicemail service, reports Business Insider.Apple employees are testing a voicemail service that uses Siri to answer your calls and transcribe voicemail messages. Apple’s iCloud service will then send you the text of the transcribed voicemail — meaning you will never need to listen to your voicemails again, sources tell Business Insider. The new service is being prepared for launch in 2016, we hear. The way it works is quite simple. If you have the ‘iCloud Voicemail’ service enabled and miss a call, Siri will answer instead of the standard voicemail service. It will be able to relay information about where you are and why you can’t come to the phone, to select people. It will also transcribe any incoming messages so you can read them quickly.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Apple to Launch New iMacs With Improved Displays, Faster Processors This Quarter?

Apple is reportedly planning to launch new iMacs with improved displays and faster processors this quarter, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. We believe Apple will introduce new iMac models in 3Q15, which are expected to have key selling points such as more powerful processors and much better display quality. We predict the panel will use a LED phosphor material called KSF to notably boost color saturation.Apple released a 5K Retina iMac last October, but much of the iMac lineup hasn’t been updated since September 2013. Apple Watch Fails to Reach Supplier ‘Break-Even Volume’ of 2 Million Per Month

Sales of the Apple Watch have failed to reach supplier ‘break-even volume’ of two million units per month, reports the WSJ.The news apparently comes from Taiwan’s Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc., the company that is responsible for putting the watch’s many chips and sensors into a small case, known as a system-in-package, or SiP.Bernstein Research analyst Mark Li says that on a conference call, an ASE subsidiary told investors that it didn’t reach its “break-even volume” of two million units per month in the second quarter. To make matters worse, the ASE unit doesn’t expect to reach that level during the third quarter either, which is typically a busy production period before the holiday sales season. It wouldn’t commit to reaching it during the fourth quarter either.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here
