Swatch Trademarks Steve Jobs’ Famous ‘One More Thing’ Line

Swatch has trademarked the ‘One More Thing’ phrase commonly associated with Steve Jobs’ keynotes, reports Patently Apple.Apple’s watch competitor Swatch is trying to poke Apple in the eye by trademarking ‘One More Thing,’ the saying made famous by Apple’s late CEO Steve Jobs when introducing new surprise products. The trademark was evidently approved and registered in May of this year. The trademark showed up in Germany earlier today. The move is notable because Swatch has vehemently opposed Apple’s attempted registration of the iWatch trademark claiming that it is confusingly similar to their ISWATCH trademark. Swatch’s opposition is likely part of the reason that Apple decided to go with the name ‘Apple Watch’ for its smartwatch.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here
