New Apple TV Will Reportedly Feature Wii-like Motion Sensitive Remote Control

We’ve already heard many rumors about the next-generation Apple TV, which Apple is set to announce at its September 9 event, but today, new information about the device’s newly-designed remote control has surfaced. In addition to the remote’s physical buttons, touchpad, and microphone for Siri, the remote will also reportedly be motion sensitive. One thing that hasn’t been talked about yet is the fact that the new remote will be motion sensitive, likely including several axis’ worth of sensors that put its control on par with a Nintendo Wii remote.A remote with motion sensors would add some interesting functionally to the device. For instance, Apple could enable developers to target casual gamers with this new input. The remote’s motion sensors could also serve as new way to navigate the Apple TV. Apple to Help Pentagon Develop High-Tech Sensors

Apple has joined an alliance of companies that will help the Pentagon develop high-tech sensor gear flexible enough to be worn by people or molded onto the outside of a jet, reports Reuters. The Pentagon is seeking help from the private sector due to the rapid rate of technology development. The new technology aims to use high-end printing technologies to create stretchable electronics that could be embedded with sensors and worn by soldiers, a defense official said, and could ultimately be used on ships or warplanes for real-time monitoring of their structural integrity.”I’ve been pushing the Pentagon to think outside our five-sided box and invest in innovation here in Silicon Valley and in tech communities across the country,” Defense Secretary Ash Carter said. “Now we’re taking another step forward.”Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

iPhone 6s Again Rumored to Arrive in Rose Gold, No Sapphire Glass

A new report from 9to5Mac is corroborating rumors that the iPhone 6s will arrive in Rose Gold.Today, our sources have confirmed that the new iPhones will actually come in a color that is unmistakably Rose Gold in both appearance and name. This new Rose Gold color is a copper-like variation on the gold option originally introduced with the iPhone 5s in 2013.Notably, the front of the device will be white like the gold and silver iPhone 6. The back will match the color of the Rose Gold Apple Watch; however, it will anodized aluminum rather than 18-karat gold.
