New Apple TV to Support Bluetooth Gaming Controllers, Faster Wi-Fi, More

Apple is widely expected to unveil a new Apple TV on September 9th that will directly compete with the Xbox, PlayStation, and Wii, reports 9to5Mac. The device will have deep support for gaming, letting users easily download new titles from the App Store and control them with a bundled remote. The newly bundled Apple TV remote control will include both tactile physical buttons and a touchpad interface. According to sources, one of the dedicated buttons will be a Home button, while another will be for activating the integrated microphone, triggering Siri control of the Apple TV. A source who has used the product says that “you can navigate [mostly everything] on the new Apple TV [solely] using the new Siri button.” The source also called the deep integration of Siri a “main focus” for the new box, as its convenience will appeal to non-gamers and gamers alike. The remote is said to feature a replaceable battery and motion sensors that will let you use it as a steering wheel in racing games. However, it’s reported that the remote uses Bluetooth to connect to the Apple TV, meaning it won’t have the pointing capabilities that the Wii does.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

The Mac Pro Can Run Six 4K Monitors at 60Hz With Just the Built-In Graphics Cards [Video]

YouTube tech reviewer Adam Matthews has discovered that the Mac Pro is capable of driving six 4K monitors using just the built-in graphics cards.Since Apple lists the Mac Pro as only supporting three 4K monitors, Matthews went about developing a custom external solution to support the additional three monitors. He purchased a Corsair CX750 power supply, an AMD7970 GPU, and a Sonnet case to make it happen.Supposedly the Mac Pro 2013 trash can can only support 3 x 4k monitors so i built an external GPU (eGPU) via thunderbolt. It uses the Sonnet Thunderbolt chassis and in this case an AMD 7970 GPU. Although you can use GTX970, GTX 980, Titan etc. This is how i did it.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Purported iPhone 6s Parts Show Improved Front-Facing FaceTime Camera, Force Touch Display

New photos obtained today by 9to5mac reveal some upcoming features that the next-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will support. As previously rumored, the new photos indicate the front-facing FaceTime camera will receive a substantial upgrade with larger, improved sensors. The larger sensors likely indicate a higher pixel count, which currently sits at 1.2 megapixels on the iPhone 6. An improved front-facing camera, along with a software-based flash, will bring a much welcomed enhancement to selfies. Unfortunately, the photos did not show the rear camera’s sensor, but sources say the iPhone 6s will sport a 12 megapixel camera with 4k video-recording support. Currently the iPhone can only record 1080p video and has an 8 megapixel camera.
