iOS 9 Has Been Jailbroken! [Video]

iH8sn0w, the hacker behind sn0wbreeze and iFaith, has posted a video demonstrating an untethered jailbreak of iOS 9. Apple just posted the GM Seed of iOS 9 to developers so it’s unlikely that anything will be changed before its public release.—Poking into iOS 9 is fun. A little annoyed at some new things. But very surprised at how similar it is to iOS 8 internally.Worth noting, iOS 9+ arm64 iDevices now enforce a checksum on __TEXT/DATA.const regions of the kernel through the use of TrustZone. Modifying said sections will cause the device to panic (either at kernel or EL3 will force a reboot if the kernel refused to gracefully panic). Essentially, it’s KPP (Kernel Patch Protection). You can race it though if you want to play with things. Just be quick! ;PShare Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Apple Begins Production of New 4K 21-inch iMac?

Apple has started production of a new 4K 21-inch iMac featuring a 4096×2304 resolution display, according to DigiTimes. Taiwan-based suppliers peg shipments of 1.4-1.5 million in the quarter. The sources pointed out that the new 21-inch iMac only has a limited change in industrial design, but is upgraded with better hardware specifications, especially the Ultra HD display. Currently, Apple is able to ship about four million iMacs each year, about the same as Lenovo, but iMacs have a much higher ASP. Apple’s lowest-end iMac is priced starting at US$1,099, while Lenovo’s high-end all-in-one PCs start at the same price point. Lenovo’s mid-range and entry-level models are priced starting US$599.99 and US$399,99, respectively. We’ve see various reports predicting that a 4K iMac may be in the works. Recently, references spotted in OS X El Capitan Beta 6 hinted at the new device. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also pegged a new iMac for release in 3Q15.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here
