ZERODIUM Offers $1 Million Dollars for Jailbreak of iOS 9

ZERODIUM has announced that it will pay $1 million dollars (USD) for an exclusive browser-based untethered jailbreak of iOS 9. Apple iOS, like all operating system, is often affected by critical security vulnerabilities, however due to the increasing number of security improvements and the effectiveness of exploit mitigations in place, Apple’s iOS is currently the most secure mobile OS. But don’t be fooled, secure does not mean unbreakable, it just means that iOS has currently the highest cost and complexity of vulnerability exploitation and here’s where the Million Dollar iOS 9 Bug Bounty comes into play.ZERODIUM says it’s willing to pay out a total of three million U.S. dollars ($3,000,000.00) in rewards for iOS exploits/jailbreaks. It will pay out one million to each team who submits an exclusive, browser-based, and untethered jailbreak for the latest Apple iOS 9 operating system and devices.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

DisplayMate: iPad Mini 4 Has Lowest Screen Reflectance of Any Mobile Display Tested

DisplayMate has revealed that the new iPad mini 4 has a much improved display with a full and very accurate 101% sRGB Color Gamut and a very low 2.0% screen reflectance. That level of reflectance is the lowest they’ve ever measured on any mobile display tested. For comparison, the previous minis had a 62% Color Gamut with poor color saturation and a very high screen reflectance. The iPad mini 3 had 6.5% reflectance and the original iPad mini had 9.0% reflectance. The previous record holder for low Reflectance was the iPad Air 2 with 2.5%, but most of the Tablets that we have tested recently fall in the range of 5.0% to 6.5% screen Reflectance (including the mini 3). So the iPad mini 4 has a Contrast in ambient light that is a factor of 2.5X to 3.2X higher than most other tablets (and 36% better than the iPad Air 2) – a major display performance improvement in real world viewing conditions! In fact, the iPad mini 4 has a Contrast Rating for High Ambient Light of 225, the highest we have ever measured and another record for the mini 4. Apple Suffers Its First Major App Store Malware Attack Affecting Hundreds of Apps

Apple has confirmed its first major malware attack affecting hundreds of apps, reports Reuters. A malicious program dubbed XcodeGhost has been embedded in hundreds of legitimate apps.Hackers managed to embed malicious code into so many apps by convincing developers to download a counterfeit version of Xcode. Developers downloaded the infected version of Xcode from servers in China because it downloaded faster from that server than from Apple’s own servers.”We’ve removed the apps from the App Store that we know have been created with this counterfeit software,” Apple spokeswoman Christine Monaghan said in an email. “We are working with the developers to make sure they’re using the proper version of Xcode to rebuild their apps.”Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

AT&T Upgrading Legacy Nation Talk and Family Talk Plans with Unlimited Minutes

AT&T is upgrading many legacy Nation Talk plans, including Family Talk Plans, to unlimited talk — free of charge. According to many users across the web and many iClarified readers, AT&T has sent out text messages notifying those on older plans that they now have unlimited talk. Note that those on the newer Mobile Share plans already have unlimited talk. While some have not received text messages, they have noted that if you log on to your AT&T account online, you’ll notice that the minute count is listed as “Unlimited.” The change was originally spotted last week, but many believed it was simply an error in AT&T’s system. AT&T’s text message confirms that this change is permanent and not a glitch. According to reports, AT&T has been upgrading both single lines and Family Talk plans. Please remember that this trick only works for orders from Apple.com!
