Apple Posts New Hey Siri Ad Featuring Bill Hader [Video]

Apple has posted a new ad highlighting the iPhone 6s’ new hands-free Hey Siri feature. The ad features actor and comedian Bill Hader, who also made an appearance in the original iPhone 6s ad. The ad, titled Prince Oseph, features Siri reading unread emails, including one from a prince who claims he is offering a once in a lifetime investment opportunity.The iPhone 6s is here, and the only thing that’s changed with Siri is everything. Because now you just say “Hey Siri” and Siri’s there, hands-free. Which can come in handy.Apple posted a slew of new iPhone 6s ads this week that highlighted the new camera features and hands-free Siri. Apple Revenue Growth From 2004 to 2015 [Chart]

Check out this chart that shows Apple’s revenue growth and guidance all the way back to 2004. The chart posted by Benedict Evans shows trailing twelve month revenue growth and guidance from September 2004 to September 2015. Interestingly, the second spike started around the time Apple released the iPad. Will the company be able to generate another significant bump with new Apple TV, or perhaps the Apple Car? Apple Partners With American Express to Expand Apple Pay to Key Global Markets

Apple is partnering with American Express to expand Apple Pay to ‘key global markets’ starting with Canada and Australia later this year. Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the partnership during the company’s earnings call today. Following the rollout to Canada and Australia, Apple Pay will expand to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Spain in 2016.Currently, Apple Pay is only available in the United States and the United Kingdom. Apple Announces $51.5 Billion in Revenue, $11.1 Billion in Net Profit for Fiscal Q4 2015

Apple today announced financial results for its fiscal 2015 fourth quarter ended September 26, 2015. The Company posted quarterly revenue of $51.5 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.1 billion, or $1.96 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $42.1 billion and net profit of $8.5 billion, or $1.42 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 39.9 percent compared to 38 percent in the year-ago quarter.
