Check Out This Apple 3D Printer Concept [Video]

Martin Hajek is at it again with a new concept for an Apple 3D printer.Apple recently filed a patent for a multi-colour 3D printer, you can read about it on 3dprint.com.So I asked myself the question; what could such a printer look like but more importantly – why should Apple enter this market? Would it be to sell the printers themselves, or even to sell the resins or filaments for the printers? How about this; what Apple did for music with iTunes and for applications with the app-store – can they do it for 3D printing with a 3D-model store? Now that’s an interesting thought…Hajek shares his vision for Apple’s 3D printer, dubbing the ‘iPrinter’. It has an integrated iPad-like touchscreen controller and is reminiscent of the Power Mac G4 Cube.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Dropbox Announces Its Shutting Down Mailbox and Carousel

Dropbox has just announced that it is shutting down its Mailbox and Carousel apps. The company plans to integrate key features from Carousel into the main Dropbox app.—In 2013, we acquired Mailbox because we believed in the way it was making mobile email better. In 2014, we launched Carousel to create a new way to experience and share photos. With both, we aspired to extend the simplicity of Dropbox to other parts of our users’ lives.Building new products is about learning as much as it’s about making. It’s also about tough choices. Over the past few months, we’ve increased our team’s focus on collaboration and simplifying the way people work together. In light of that, we’ve made the difficult decision to shut down Carousel and Mailbox.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here
