Apple is Planning a March Event to Unveil the Apple Watch 2 and Possibly a 4-inch iPhone

Apple is planning to hold an event in March at which the company will unveil the second generation Apple Watch and possibly a 4-inch iPhone, according to 9to5Mac sources. The new Apple Watch would ship by April, about a year after the original model shipped. Apple began to develop technologies destined for future Apple Watch models long before the first generation even shipped. As we previously reported, Apple has been working on new camera, wireless, sleep tracking, and health sensor technologies for the wearable device, but it is currently unclear which of these additions are will appear on the model planned to be introduced in March. Apple last updated the device in September with new colors, bands, and software features. We’ve heard numerous rumors about a 4-inch iPhone over the past few months. Most recently it’s been predicted that the 4-inch iPhone will resemble an upgraded iPhone 5s and feature an A9 chip made by both TSMC and Samsung, 2.5D cover glass, NFC, a metal casing with at least 2 to 3 color options, and the same camera specs as the iPhone 5s.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here

Apple is Working on a Major Expansion of Its Elk Grove Campus

Apple is quietly working on a major expansion of its Elk Grove campus in Sacramento County, California, reports bizjournals. City officials say the expansion could mean several thousand new jobs. The company is converting a 134,000-square-foot warehouse into a logistics operation. That move, along with addition of 1,450 parking spaces beginning last summer, points to many more employees, said Darrell Doan, the city’s economic development director.Apple is spending at least $13 million on improving the facility, adding medical and dental facilities, a massage room, exercise room and yoga studio. These are amenities that tech companies often use to attract talent and keep employees happy. Apple is also said to be working with the city’s transportation department to evaluate a bus service for employees and other workers.Share Article:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Email,   Reddit,   Digg,   Delicious,   StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook,   Twitter,   LinkedIn,   Google Plus,   Newsletter,   App Store,   YouTubeAdvertise Here
