Apple has filed a patent detailing how the Apple Watch could be used to automatically adjust the volume of an iPhone based on the ambient environment. The patent is entitled, “VOLUME CONTROL FOR MOBILE DEVICE USING A WIRELESS DEVICE”.Apple notes that mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and media players are very popular and carried with users almost everywhere. The widespread use of these devices make it hard to determine the most pleasing audio settings. For example, the alert volume of a device might need to vary dramatically based on whether a user is in his/her office or in a crowded subway. The company’s solution is to use the Apple Watch to detect ambient noise and adjust the users mobile device volume accordingly.Share Article:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Email, Reddit, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTubeAdvertise Here
Apple has selected TSMC as the sole manufacturer of the iPhone 7’s processor, reports ETNews. It’s believed that Apple chose the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company over Samsung because of its new 10nm manufacturing process. The iPhone 7’s processor, most likely the A10, is said to enter production in June but the device won’t be launched until this fall.If the report is accurate, it’s a blow to Samsung, who currently shares production of the iPhone 6s’ A9 processor with TSMC. Some users found that the iPhone 6s with a TSMC made A9 chip got significantly more battery life than the iPhone 6s with a Samsung made A9 chip. However, testing by Consumer Reports found less than a 2% difference.Share Article:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Email, Reddit, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTubeAdvertise Here
Twitter has introduced a new Home timeline feature that shows you the ‘best’ Tweets first. The feature has caused some concern among users; however, Twitter has promised that it can be turned off.How It Works:You flip on the feature in your settings; then when you open Twitter after being away for a while, the Tweets you’re most likely to care about will appear at the top of your timeline – still recent and in reverse chronological order. The rest of the Tweets will be displayed right underneath, also in reverse chronological order, as always. At any point, just pull-to-refresh to see all new Tweets at the top in the live, up-to-the-second experience you already know and love.To try out the feature, go to the timeline section of your settings and choose Show me the best Tweets first. Twitter says it will turn on the feature by default within the coming weeks.Share Article:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Email, Reddit, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUponFollow iClarified:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Newsletter, App Store, YouTubeAdvertise Here
