A Fresno State student was saved by his iPhone when it stopped a bullet during an armed robbery. The victim who lived at the Campus Edge Apartments was followed home by a criminal late Monday night. The gates to the apartment complex were left open and so the criminal was able to get inside to mug the student.Faris Alotaibi, the victim’s roommate said, “He took a gun, after he took the backpack of my roommate, and he shot him in the leg but my roommate is very lucky. I looked at his jeans and it was torn open.
