Apple Considers Using Intel Modem for 2017 iPhone?

Apple is sticking with Qualcomm to supply all the modem chips for the next generation iPhone; however, it’s said to be considering other suppliers for its 2017 smartphone, industry sources tell DigiTimes.Qualcomm is partnering with TSMC to supply 100% of the modem chips for use in the new iPhones slated for launch in September 2015, the sources said.
