Live streaming app Periscope has been updated with a new map section that lets you explore live streams from around the world on a zoomable map. Replays on the app are also now instantly available, where as before, users would have to wait for the broadcast to upload.Finally, you can now share the link to a broadcast that you’re watching right to Twitter. Periscope was acquired and launched by Twitter back in March. Periscope lets you broadcast live video to the world. Going live will instantly notify your followers who can join, comment and send you hearts in real time.
