A ‘test model iPad from Apple’ was stolen during a robbery and kidnapping at a Cupertino house earlier this month, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.MercuryNews reports that the device, along with electronics, prescription drugs, and cash valued at $7,500, were taken from the Cupertino home.The incident began when a man in his 20s answered a woman’s online advertisement. He met the woman and a male associate two blocks away from his home. They drove to the house and once inside, the male threatened him with a knife which the woman pepper-sprayed him in the face. The couple took his belongings and forced him into their car. After driving the victim three-quarters of a mile from the home, they released him. The victim didn’t contact the police until five days later.
