Global pre-orders for the Apple Watch are expected to top 2.3 million units through May, according to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.The Sport model is said to be by far the favorite, accounting for 85% of pre-orders. The Apple Watch is said to account for about 15% of pre-orders and the Edition less than 1%.Production issues with the smartwatch apparently center around the display and the vibration unit that provides haptic feedback. The display is supplied by LG.
