Apple is reportedly preparing a new iPad Air 3 for unveiling in March that would have a 4K display, up to 4GB of RAM, and improved battery life, reports DigiTimes. The company is said to begin production of the device in Q2 with General Interface Solution and TPK Holding supplying touch panels.The new 9.7-inch device will reportedly come equipped with a 4K resolution panel and up to 4GB in RAM, in addition to improved battery life. GIS will be responsible for LCD modules and touch panels along with backlighting products while TPK will supply touch panels, the makers said.Notably, the new iPad Air is not expected to feature a 3D Touch display, according to the report.
